When is the best time to visit Chiang Rai ?

How to get to Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai?
There are several options for getting to Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai:- Bus:Greenbus company buses depart regularly from Arcade bus station in Chiang Mai. The bus journey takes approximately 3.5 hours. It is advisable to book a little in advance. You can do this on this site .
- Car: You can rent a car and drive yourself (you will need an international license). There are international rental companies that allow you to rent the car in Chiang Mai and return it to Chiang Rai (subject to availability). The journey takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.

What are the night markets in Chiang Rai?

One is open every evening and 2 are open once a week:- The Night Bazaar of Chiang Rai:Located in town near the bus station (Bus Terminal 1), this market is ideal for buying some souvenirs but above all tasting local dishes .
- Saturday Night Walking Street: It is held every Saturday evening at Thanalai Road in downtown Chiang Rai.
- Sunday Night Walking Street: this great night market is held every Sunday evening on San Khong Noi Road.
How to get around Chiang Rai?
